This APA hotel is one of many of the street. It was easy to find and the check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast is in a different APA 30 sec walk away, right next door. Breakfast is pretty simple, you’ll be fine if your ok with a Japanese breakfast (which I was so it was all good) but if your look long for western food it’s bread, egg and sausages. Location was GREAT! From the Narita airport it’s a straight like if you take the Keisei express line, it merges directly with the Asakusa line and if you go down at asakusa station it’s a 7min walk to the hotel A DREAM OF EASINESS. There’s a lot of metro and bus lines around that make it so easy to hop from on place to the other without any headaches. Google map will be your best friend for that. Wi-fi was good and fast, never any issues. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so at night it was very peaceful. Beds and pillows are on the harder side, fine with me but could be an issue for others. The rooms are small, as a solo traveler who’s out all day and just need a place to sleep it’s perfect and the bathroom was JUST big enough to not be to cramp. Water pressure always on point and hot water never an issue even during a long shower. Cleaning ladies are on point and always ready, I saw them everyday asking if I was going out so they could clean 😂. Would probably stay there again if I go back to Tokyo for a long period of time. It’s a basic chain hotel, but a good one.

Staffs were highly responsive and helpful even before my arrival. They were professional, hospitable, customer centric and went the extra mile to help. The hotel and room were bright and clean. While the windows closed in my room, ventilation was very efficient and I didn’t get the stuffy smell at all. The bed and pillows were super comfy to me and toiletries were more than sufficient. The area is away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet with easy access from Narita airport and to town, and great food and shopping. The hotel is ideally located between Kuramae and Asakusa stations, both are easy 5-min walks. Direct train service from Narita airport took just about an hour for less than $1500 yen. If you are carrying heavy luggages you can use exit A2b of the Asakusa station of the Asakusa line and you don’t even have to cross the road. A small supermarket run by aeon, convenient stores and a Japanese massage spa are just around the corner. It’s about 15 min walk to 24-hr Donki and rox shopping malls where you find Daiso, 3 coin shop, Muji, Uniqlo etc. it also requires only a ahort walk to the temple and Kappabashi Dougu Street where you’ll find all sort of cooking and baking tools and ingredients. If you are a craft lover, you will enjoy the abundance of supplies one train stop away from the hotel.

Good location, right in the heart of Asakusa. Really close to Sumida River and there’s a 7/11 across the hotel. Though if you want to be closer to the station, suggest you book at APA Asakusa Ekimae (2 min walk) vs Kuramae Kita which is an 8-10 min walk. The room is spacious for 1 person, can feel a little cramped for 2 but you can store your luggage under the bed to make more space. The room has complete amenities (ref, blowdryer, kettle, telephone even) and necessities are replenished almost daily (paper cups, instant coffee/matcha mix, toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste, showercap, it’s all complete). The lobby has a small station with a microwave and a mini convenience store where you can self-check out some food items and other necessities. Room cleaning is every 3 days. If you want to avail of breakfast, it’s an additional charge and you need to walk to the other APA hotel to have it. The front desk staff speak english and are very helpful with check-in and you can store your luggage at the hotel for free. They also offer express check-out where you drop your room key into this box if you have no more additional charges during your stay - this is super convenient if you are in a rush to get to the airport.

This hotel was a great find for us. It's located in a quiet and pleasant area between Asakusa and Kuramae, close to 2 subway lines and a 12-minute walk from the beautiful Senso-ji Temple- not to be missed at night when the crowds have gone- and all the nearby restaurants. The rooms are small but very well-designed and have all the amenities, and the same can be said about the bathroom. The mattress and pillows were super comfortable. We opted for a corner room, with a river view, and it was all worth it. Don't be put off by the size: comfort, quiet, cleanliness, kindness of the housekeeping ladies and staff (check-in and check-out were a breeze), and the affordable cost contributed to making our 4-day trip to Tokyo very pleasurable and memorable. Absolutely recommended.

Perfect location in the hearth of Asakusa, very close to different metro stations and to Senso-ji temple. The reception is open 24H and the staff is very kind and helpful for every need you might have. They provide you with everything you might need during your stay (tootbrush, razors, hairbrush...) and there is the laundry service (which can be checked from your room, so you don't have to walk downstairs to see if there is a washing machine available).
